Hi Love In Black with Tory and Teri, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Well as it relates to our Counseling Practice and our Media Entertainment platforms and opportunities, we maintain that we are Husband & Wife 1st!!

WE are grounded Spiritually in our belief that Family comes First. As with multi-tasking various tasks & obligations invites room for many distractions, we must maintain our beliefs at all times. This is where we implement boundaries and refer to our mantra of maintaining our priorities of securing our mental health and self-care first before approaching items of business.

We have all heard stories of Fame & Fortune, Rags to Riches, etc. and those are very heartwarming but, if we are not Grounded in our Faith and being ‘realist together’ overall then one can find themselves losing focus of ‘The Why’ of their mission which then leads to people getting ‘caught up’. and that can lead to a downfall.

Together, we have agreed to ‘this Calling on our lives’ as a purpose to share rewarding knowledge on how to co-exist with your partner amicably and responsibly as we “Life Together” as ‘One’!

This requires endless humility, empathy and compromise in Agreement day in, day out to pressing in the Pursuit of Happiness which, is the end Goal.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart is -we are a Husband/Wife Team that are Marriage/Relationship, Individual, Family, Therapists, Ordained Ministers, Mentors, Authors, Public Speakers, Content Creators, Executive Producer’s and last but not least, Radio, Podcast & TV Personalities.

What we are most excited about -is GOD’s reveal!! Every space that we fill is a Calling and it is God’s Design. We never set out to do any of the above. Our desire was to be Marriage Ministers of a Church to help Couples. That was how ‘it started’ the above Purpose-positions, mentioned is how ‘it’s going’.,, That is ONLY by the Grace of GOD!

How we got to where we are today is Sowing in Faith, Patience & Perseverance. We literally, approach new opportunities with a humble heart knowing that, all of our Blessings are truly Heaven sent. When contemplating a leap of Faith, one must be willing to be patient in the process. Purpose driven assignments are not for the weak. It requires a Trust like no other and a humble spirit to maintain your Hope for your Vision to come to pass.

Was it easy? Lol!! – Nothing, worth the value, is easy to obtain. We had to do ‘The Work’. We went to school all while working our secular jobs until GOD promoted us to Full-time, entrepreneurship. This body of work is priceless. We consider this our Ministry which comes with trials and tests as does any leap of Faith.

How we overcame the challenges was working and winning together as one. In tough times we reminded one another that GOD did not bring us this far to leave us. All of Us was His design. The very fact that we met and married within 30 days is proof that His plan is bigger than anything we ever imagined. It’s true!! We are actually living God’s purpose and plan for us out-loud.

The lessons we have learned as Husband and Wife is that we are nothing without the Grace, Mercy & Favour of GOD. The most important lesson of all is that our business belongs to Him we’re just managing it in the earth realm however, we have accepted a Spiritual assignment to help couples and people change the trajectory of their life’s outcome!!

What we want the world to know – is that it’s okay to Dream Big!! “Faith, without works’ is, dead”. So, do all that you can with Prayer and Supplication and watch Signs, Miracles & Wonders unfold.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We have a myriad of places we frequent with out of town guests. We would take them to Scott Gertner’s Rhythm Room for Live music and entertainment. Then depending on the time of month, we would vist Oscar Mcgarr and friends’ 1st Thursdays at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Galleria. We would also, stop by ‘Gracies’ our cherished sponsor for dinner & cocktails. Last but not least we would welcome the opportunity to share a jewel that we enjoy which is the ‘Soul Purpose’ play. With this list we could never disappoint.

Although, these are the current TOP picks, we have a vast amount of choices of events that are always graciously, extended to us to partake, attend and support.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It’s all GOD!! He has “Called” us to this scope of work, without Him we are nothing.

We are also extremely, grateful for our Production Team, who have been SO very, supportive and dedicated to the mission of sharing helpful, Healing, content Nationally & Globally.

It truly takes a Village!!

Others that have been virtually, influential in our journey are Bishop TD Jakes, Dr. Tony Evans, Iyanla Vanzant and Pastor William Murphy to name a few.

Throughout the years we have sat at their feet and gleaned from their delivery and perseverance for excellence this in turn inspires us to uphold, the integrity of our Purpose.
