We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought behind building my own business was breaking generational curses. I have endured so much throughout my 30 years of life, that ultimately I wanted to be the best in this life. Being given several creative talents, I wondered why not use what the universe gave me naturally to be able to supply myself the means to live the life I desire.
What should our readers know about your business?
My business includes several routes. I have a niche for beauty, life vlogging, & retail. These are all creative routes that I feel I am great at. The bulk of my business ventures are to be able to reach those who want to learn about me, my skills, and learn how I maneuver through life by offering goods and services.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone was to visit Houston I would take them to the beach Galveston, Texas which is about 40 mins south of the city. Inner city I would take them to food places such as Turkey Leg Hut and lounges like Prospect Park, Adore, The Address.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my family and real friends/supporters. Without those who support me & show it through shares, words of encouragement, and the constant push to be a better me idk where I’d be. I’m grateful for them more than they realize and it’s made me be the woman I’ve become today.
Lastly, I want to shoutout MYSELF! I have overcame so much and I’m so glad I don’t stop without a fight.
