Meet Tonya Jones | Bingo Social Media Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tonya Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tonya, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I remember always wanting different styles of Bingo shirts and I was so tired of the same shirts and hoodies. I started designing my own shirts and hoodies and wasn’t benefiting monetarily from a specific website. I decided to purchase my own heat press and create. my own shirts to sell to my followers.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve worked corporate jobs my entire career and I believe my experience in managing a variety of industries has helped me along the way with my business. I’ve managed call center customer service, manufacturing in technology and chemical sectors, administration, as well as process improvement. All of those skillsets has assisted me with becoming the first Bingo Influencer as well as kickstarting a successful small business within the bingo industry. It wasn’t an easy start as with any social media influencing there are always obstacles, but I’ve always continued to push through those obstacles and moved forward looking at the bigger picture. I believe my business is successful because I love what I do because I am my own customer. I know Bingo and I am a bingo player.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend knows I’m all about Bingo. We would kick start breakfast at Cracker Barrell before we would make our way to my favorite Bingo Hall in Houston, Texas which is H-Town Bingo. We would play Bingo a few hours and then have lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse. After lunch it’s back to H-Town Bingo where we would eat dinner from Jackie’s Food Truck and play the remainder of the night including Midnight Bingo. After a couple of days in Houston, we would take a tour to Los Angeles and play at the best Bingo Hall in Southern California which is Bosco Tech in Rosemead and then follow up in Northern California at Daub 4 Kids in Oakley, California with some Mountain Mike’s Pizza. The remainder of our adventure would be at Winner’s Bingo in Stockton, California.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this experience to all my followers, viewers, family, and support system. They are all the reason why I am where I am today and there are no words to show how much I appreciate their support.
