We had the good fortune of connecting with Maranda Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maranda, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind Elemental Growth Mindset, my life coaching business was how can I help people with their goals and reaching their full potential. We all have dreams and goals, we just need someone to help us reach them.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Although I have three businesses, I want to speak on my new life coaching business, Elemental Growth Mindset. Our mission is to empower individuals to unlock their full potential, overcome challenges, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based techniques grounded in Cognitive Behavior. We strive to provide compassionate support, practical guidance, and personalized strategies that foster lasting positive change in our clients’ lives.

I am already a motivational speaker but I wanted to help each individual directly. I wanted to create a more intimate environment for others. I became a Certified CBT Life Coach in June 2024 and launched my business in the same month. I was nervous at first because I don’t have a psychology background but I do have a spirit of faith and strength that I know can help others.

I want the world to know that EGM is here for you and we take each person’s goals and growth serious. Let us help you reach your fullest potential and aspirations.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly, I am an extreme introvert. I would probably take them to a nice cafe or coffee shop, dinner at a relaxed restaurant, and maybe a bar that isn’t too crowded. One of my, “flaws,” I guess you can say is that I work so much I don’t have much of a social life. I’m more likely to take them on a trip to another state or country.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to two people that are very important to me. My mother, Melissa Jones, and my PR/Friend, Christian Simmons. They have both pushed me towards my success, lifted me up when I wanted to give up, remind me who I am, and support me in everything I do.
