We had the good fortune of connecting with Bree Frasier Muralist & Plant Shop Owner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bree Frasier, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Honestly? I didn’t choose it — it chose me. Art has always been the one place where I feel most like myself. I’ve never been good at staying inside the lines, whether that’s in life or on a canvas. Breezy Art Designs was born from a deep need to spread color, joy, and bold self-expression in spaces that are usually dull or overlooked. I realized early on that I wasn’t meant to live a life that felt muted — and I want to help other people feel that too, just by walking into a room. There’s something powerful about transforming blank walls into loud, vibrant reflections of emotion, culture, and identity.

What should our readers know about your business?
Breezzy Art Designs was born in 2020 — right in the middle of one of the darkest times the world had seen. Everything felt heavy and uncertain, and I found myself turning to art as a way to cope. Color became my form of rebellion — a way to push back against the gray. What started as personal therapy quickly became a way to bring joy and healing to others. It turns out, a lot of people needed color just as much as I did.

Since then, Breezzy Art Designs has grown into something deeply personal and incredibly meaningful. I’ve had the honor of creating murals for Cilantro Mexican Grill, The Aesthetic Co., Pot Heads Plant Co., B&B Automotive, Kaspar Outdoors, Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, multiple residential clients, and several apartment complexes. Each of those projects was built on trust — people believing in my vision before it was polished or widely known. That means everything to me.

What sets Breezzy Art Designs apart is the heart behind it. I don’t just paint to make spaces look better — I paint to make people feel something. My murals are vibrant, bold, and emotionally charged. They’re full of movement, personality, and purpose. They’re built to spark joy, create connection, and leave behind something real.

Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve dealt with chronic pain, burnout, grief, and the emotional weight of trying to build something from the ground up. But every struggle added depth to my art. Breezzy Art Designs is built on resilience, honesty, and the belief that color can change everything — even if just for a moment.

If my work can make someone feel more alive, more seen, or more at home in their own space, then I know I’m doing exactly what I was meant to do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Bryan–College Station for a week, I’d take them on a tour of my favorite local spots — the kind of places with character, community, and a little edge.

We’d start the morning at What’s The Buzz Coffee, where you can grab a solid brew and check out the plants I stock from Pot Heads Plant Co. It’s caffeine and greenery — a match made in plant-parent heaven.

From there, we’d swing by Elevated CBD & Smoke for a little vibe check and maybe a fun find or two, then grab lunch at Zeitman’s Grocery Store & Deli — easily one of the best local spots for bagels and sandwiches.

We’d hang out for a while at KinderHill Brew Lab, sipping craft beer and catching up. And in the evening, we’d head to West End Elixir Company for cocktails and cigars — it’s got that moody, grown-up vibe that’s perfect for winding down in style.

At some point during the week, we’d definitely hit Lick Creek Park for a nature walk and a reset. It’s the perfect way to slow down and clear your head before diving back into the chaos.

And of course, no visit would be complete without a mural tour and a plant haul at Pot Heads Plant Co. — because if you’re in my orbit, you’re leaving with a plant. Probably several.

Bryan–College Station delivers — creativity, community, and little pockets of magic everywhere. That’s what makes it feel like home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest shoutout goes to the Bryan–College Station community. From the very beginning, this town has shown up for me in ways I’ll never forget — whether it was buying plants, commissioning murals, or simply cheering me on when I pivoted or started something new. Y’all have supported my art, my small business, and my wild ideas with open hearts and open arms. You made it feel possible to chase this dream, even when it felt scary. Breezzy Art Designs wouldn’t be what it is without this community backing me, rooting for me, and growing alongside me. Thank you for seeing me, believing in me, and letting me leave my mark on your walls — literally.
