We had the good fortune of connecting with Le’Nijah Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Le’Nijah, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think of risks in a way as I would when thinking about walking by faith . You just have to go for it and be 100 percent confident in yourself , your brand , and most importantly God . How would you know your full potential if you don’t take the risk . I can truly say that it has opened some doors for me , just stepping out fully confident in myself and my work has put me in some rooms to be able to grow and work towards building my brand and becoming successful.

What should our readers know about your business?
my childhood was kinda hectic my family isn’t really close and I’m from a small city I always knew that I wanted to do something bigger to be successful . I always knew I wanted to work for myself I originally got into the beauty industry because of my mother . She did hair and when she passed ,from the outside looking in on her I just knew that was something I wanted to continue that she didn’t get a chance to . I used to have a little beauty supply shop where I sold strip lashes and lipgloss, hair oils ect . The girls at school and everyone used to have me put their strip lashes on .Lash network was introduced in 2021 . Over the years I have worked to get my certifications and license and just working on my craft . I think lash network sets apart from others because I don’t only do lash extensions I also create a space where everyone can be themselves, where you can feel beautiful, if you need someone to talk to . Just all around an unmatched vibe u get a +1 sister id say lol

You have to be consistent & you have to have some type of discipline. It was not easy but it is very doable if you want it bad enough .A lot of praying is also needed , it is important for god to be the foundation of your business it’s a must but the work must be put in as well .

I want the world to know when they look at my work and in on my business that I work hard .Despite what I have been through I still get up everyday and show up for me . Every tear and every loss that I have token I took it got up and brushed myself off .I want the world to know that I love what I do I find healing in what I do . Just being able to make someone else’s day or even to listen to what they have going on as well being a person that they can confide in. is something I cherish and will forever be greatful for.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love going downtown they have plenty of different activities to choose from I’d say I’d go to some thrift stores I’m still kinda learning all the good ones I’d definitely eat at chipotle , salata , Dona Letis , lost & found & some seafood. I’m still exploring and finding different things there’s always something new to get into .
I will say I have had my eyes on a few live art museums, spas , and bars that I will be checking out .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Aliyah & Taeshun they have been amazing every idea I have they are always supporting no matter what it is , aside of being professional I can always be myself , I’ve never had to belittle myself around them they’re support is endless

My little support system- they’ve always been there and I’m thankful for them and words wouldn’t be able to express how much I am greatful for them .

God deserves all the credit I truly would’ve be able to do any of this with out him

My clients – they don’t even know how much they mean to me , every appointment heals me , and by that I mean I’m human I have been through things. when they come in and vibe out & I get to make their day with a little girl talk completes me .
