Meet Jeremy Pierre | Founder & CEO ROAR

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Pierre and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My company (ROAR) was created to establish a community where individuals are empowered to reach their full potential mentally, spiritually, and physically. Simply put… “We help people transform their lives”. I believe that true success is only possible when individuals operate as the best versions of themselves. We are thoughtful in our approach, and we prioritize improvement, self-empowerment, and excellence in everything we do.
In two years, we have provided numerous services to a growing community of people from all across the world ranging from 7 yrs old to 70 years old. These services consist of motivational speaking events (in-person/virtual), daily podcast that provides motivational and inspirational content, customized fitness training sessions and we also established a Youth Track Club for the community. All of the services we provide at ROAR have collectively helped thousands of people transform their lives mentally, physically, and spiritually.
ROAR has grown exponentially in two years time and we are seeing the fruits from our labor with over 19,000 followers combined on our Instagram/Tiktok (@ discover_your_roar) pages where we share daily motivation.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
My beginnings were humble. Raised by a single mother in south Louisiana, I am a former student-athlete at a Division I institution where I went from a little known, under-recruited athlete to a 6-time conference champion and Hall of Fame track athlete. That journey, along with many others throughout my life, equipped me with the mindset and grit necessary to overcome obstacles and achieve my goals. Although, it was very difficult to overcome and endure these challenges it has played the biggest part in my success in life as a man.
In my professional career I have had the privilege of navigating and managing complex, multi-international business transactions and projects. I have led these endeavors and worked alongside senior leaders of Fortune 500 companies. So I have been blessed to be able to deeply experience all spectrum’s of life. Those diverse experiences allowed me to have diversity of thought. I can minister and relate to people from all walks of life because I’ve ventured down all of the paths at some point in my life.
My story is full of hardships, obstacles, challenges, failures, and successes. It touches the streets, corporate America, the poor, the rich. I’ve had the privilege to be able to experience these facets and it has allowed me to be able to connect with “ALL” people from all walks of life. At some point in time, we all have felt or will feel like a Underdog. I exist for the Underdogs because I’ve been one my entire life. ROAR was created to help people who are trying to find their way or who want to transform their life. My brand is that I’m a “vessel” that was created to “Change Lives”. It’s my calling and my passion.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, I would take them to a few nice brunch spots in the city. The brunch spots would definitely be The Breakfast Klub and Bosscat Kitchen & Libations.
During the week, we would have lunch at Pappadeaux’s, The Grove, and This Is It. For dinner, we would likely eat at Vic & Anthony’s one night and Steak 48 another night. I think the mood and ambience at both of these restaurants are optimal and they both are near good scenery and night life.
From there, we would transition to a nice lounge where we could socialize and listen to some live music and maybe have a few drinks if they are interested. In Houston, the choices are endless for things to do!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to start off by thanking God for taking me on my own personal transformational journey a few years ago. That journey played a instrumental role in me discovering my purpose. God used a season of hardships in my life, to allow me to understand what it was he wanted me to do. Through that experience he gave me a crystal clear vision (ROAR) and the rest was history.
Secondly, I would also like to thank Monica Blackshire (owner of Monica Blackshire’s Photography) and Mike Carter (CEO Of Carter Studios) for helping me bring the vision for ROAR to life. Monica was instrumental with developing a unique website that aligned with my vision and she was also responsible for all of the dynamic photography for ROAR. Mike served as the videographer for all of my initial ROAR promotional videos and he also did some amazing video edits for some of my initial motivational speaking events. They went over and above to bring my vision to reality!!
