Hi Brooke, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking is very important to me, I’ve learned my biggest set back is not going forward and just taking that risk, we will never know how far we can go if we don’t apply ourselves and try that all starts with taking risk, Betting on yourself, Believing in yourself, no matter how many times I’ve failed at things I’ll always succeed because over and over I’ll never stop trying & that starts by “TAKING RISK”!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
B Lauren shop created by Brooke Lauren Westbrooks. A Mother, a Daughter & an entrepreneur, I began my entrepreneurship in my early teen stages where I began selling clothes & shoes in high school , with my hustling spirit & strong ambition I developed a passion for getting it on my own & becoming my own Boss. In 2014 i launched my first Business B LAUREN SHOP selling women’s merch & accessories on a quest to help women boost self esteem and feel better about themselves simply by looking better , i than a year later launched my “SHAPED BY BLAUREN” women’s shape wear line to help Moms & women like herself to get back there confidence , encouraging women all over , I was always approached by other businesses to put on clothes or gifted free shoes & things just to promote other people’s business , one day this lady hit me and said I made 1500 off your shout out post in just 3 hours she was going on saying how happy she was & thank you so much I’d love to continue doing business with you & it just hit me one day like I’m out here making other people money by promoting their brand I decided to believe in my self & take a step forward & creating somthing of my own and became the poster child for my own brand with my tiny waist & hour glass figure , with no high school diploma single mom of 3 kids I made 85,000 dollars my first year in business & that’s when I knew I was able to do whatever i put my mind to ,Fast forward 6 years later I started another company called “FAITH & FITNESS Faith & fitness is a 60 day program designed to kick start & help transition you to improve a healthy lifestyle! where you will include prayer before your workout which ultimately assists God in helping us achieve our goals. With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). I have a growing community of over 100,000 people who signed up & joined I plan on taking faith Im& fitness to the next level and actually visiting state to state country to country the community that was built online. I have people from all over the world in different countries that are apart of Faith & Fitness I’m just tryna continue to find new ways to be innovative & help inspire. Help do my part while I’m here to make and create change in the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m from L.A a real inner City kid grew up on the east side in the Compton area. All though I was born & raised on the east side, the west side of L.A was where all my real life experiences came from, I was always attracted to the nicer areas Beverly Hills, west La pretty much all the places I didn’t go to growing up, as I go older and was able to move around on my own I developed a liking to all the nice things I wasn’t exposed to as a kid, so now those happen to be some of my favorite places. If I were to give an out of town friend alil tour and take them to mod my favorite spots of definitely take them to one of my favorite restaurants called Boa they make everything to perfection for me, we’d definitely have to hit the beach Malibu, Hermosa or Redondo some of my favs & enjoy L.As people and great weather, might not sound all exciting but believe it or not I believe L.A house party’s are the best places to enjoy yo people and have great memories I’m not really a club or event girl I love being with my people backyard boogies or in home game nights or just a simple taco Tuesday is better than any function I’ve ever been too, it’s just something about being around good ppl listening to good music and enjoying catching up on life together weather we on the porch or auntys couch or standing around watching the kids play in the front playing spades, dominoes or just giving with yo people to some good music the best times in life for me are those natural organic moments shared amongst each other definitely would be where I’d take them

I dedicate my life & all that I do to my amazing children & Mother Angela Candace it is only because of them that I am still here, I don’t know where I would be without my mother’s prayers she along with my children are gods gift to me
