We had the good fortune of connecting with TyAngela Hunter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TyAngela, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Over the years I have managed to try to perfect my daily routine. There are a few habits that are non-negotiable for me to maintain a work-life balance that I have come to enjoy, A few habits I can’t live without include: -early morning meditation and affirmations -next comes my protein coffee smoothie since my days often start at 4:30 before my workout, -a quick breakfast from my go-to stash of breakfast combinations with a green juice, -creating a work and life schedule that creates time in my day and week for everything I want to accomplish during the next 5 years. I have learned to breakdown my 5-year goal plan into manageable steps to incorporate into my daily life. My days can seem overwhelming to the outsider looking in, but my days are planned to be laser focused to produce results in every aspect of my life. I am constantly looking and improving on my future self and not focused on the hard work that I must do at the moment. Delayed gratification can be very rewarding when you are focused on the right things.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started Glam Life Hustle as a lifestyle brand before gearing it into my passion project for mental health and personal development. Upon receiving my life coaching certification I became almost obsessed with how to really excel in helping my clients master their thoughts and creating the life of their dreams. Being comfortable in creating your life is all about understanding who you are and how to control your thoughts and emotions to create the things in life that you really want. One of the biggest lessons I learned in my business is you have to stop waiting on perfection and just get started with whatever it is you want. I am a big believer in creating the time in your day for the things you want and it will be easier to obtain and accomplish your goals. GLH Coaching has become the triple threat of mindset coaching in Houston, I have worked to create a mental health brand that focuses on cultivating clarity about your goals and your life. I incorporate different holistic techniques such as yoga, meditation, hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming, cognitive behavioral therapy. I provide 2 main services for my clients such as intimate group therapy and one on one sessions. I mix theraptic tolls to create a unique therapy experience for each and every client.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A long weekend getaway will always start with the Museum District, then to stroll on down to the Buffalo Bayou park for a quiet picnic lunch, we can’t end the day by visiting the vintage shops in the Heights, dinner is always the best at Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille, finally laying down at the oh so chic Zaza Hotel The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Shoutout is loud and clear to my mother, sister, father, and finance, to my daughters and son. My entire family for words of encouragement and constant support to every project that I tend to throw their way.
