We had the good fortune of connecting with Ken Freeman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ken, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Vegan Vibez Festival is unique in its on. We have the opportunity to create a space where people eat Plantbased and enjoy great entertainment. Imagine eating healthier options while being able to, rollerskate, dance, view Art exhibits, jam out to music and party.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Vegan Vibez was created in 2018 which is when I turned fully vegan. Every since we have been on a path to show the world that vegan is not just eating plants.

From a cultural standpoint and being exposed to many with health issues that shares the same entertainment views. What better way to convince others then creating a festival that they also can enjoy

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Houston there is a few great spots I would take vegan or non-vegan friend. -Mo better brews for breakfast,

-HAV, Cascabel, Or Meeks pizza for lunch
-Joey’s Uptown (Vegan menu options), or Verdine for dinner

Houston is full of clubs, bars and outdoor spots so would just pick depending on mode

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Vegan Vibez Tribe which is a group of amazing people.
