We had the good fortune of connecting with Katrina Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katrina, what do you attribute your success to?
Consistency.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being an entrepreneur, you definitely have to learn to wear damn near every hat. Consistency keeps you seen. There’s a new challenge everyday. I’ve learned not to panic & to be ready to pivot to plan b on the spot. Having a small circle is fine when dealing with close friends, but you definitely have to build a large network in order for your brand to cover all lanes.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
District 7 Grill has always been one of my favorite spots. Going to the IMPROV to support a local artist, or even an out of town talent is always a good night. I’m pretty simple. I don’t mind driving out of town a few hours away just to catch a show somewhere.

I’m always down to pull up at a friends house with a bottle and bust some behind on a spades game.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Anybody who still believed in me when I stopped believing in myself….thank you.
