Takeova | Streetwear Brand Owner

My business partner Sherman would always tell me that we should start our own brand, with my quickness to action and his attention to research and detail we just made the perfect team. Being among the creators and influencers of this culture can be very educational at times and it always sparked the creative side of my mind. My brand is meant to speak to the world by motivating them to be the best & stand for what they believe in. It’s more than just clothing in my eyes it’s actual artwork and meanings behind it all! It just seemed like the rite thing for me to do, now I focus all of my free time into bettering my brand and setting things up for the future! Read more>>

Many of my coworkers had no idea that baking was my thing; the cheesecake was demolished within 15 minutes of being on the break room table. Once everyone got a taste of my desserts, the rest was history. I’ve received multiple requests to bake for others, but I always said no, mainly because of how precious baking is for me—it’s a breath of fresh air, especially when I want to clear my mind. It’s just something I enjoy doing. I was just afraid to share something so delicate with the world. According to my husband, he already had plans for me to be a successful baker/cook lol , so one night we were having dinner and he just told me” baby girl its time to start the business up”, and from that moment on that’s when I created MIDDLESWEETS.
