How do you define success?

TV, Movies, and culture in general sometimes paints a narrow, specific image of what success is, but we know from our conversations with some of the best and brightest that success can mean vastly different things to different people.

I believe that defining success for yourself, is so important. I used to live my life attaining goals that other people have set out for me because they taught me and influenced me with their own definition of what success looks like. My parents, my teachers, my mentors, my culture and traditions, society, being an immigrant, my mental health, my relationships, and my failures; these have all been huge factors on my journey with defining this word. I believe the word success holds a very diverse definition. Each of us go through different situations & grow up in different environments that shape us into the amazing people we are today. According to Merriam-Webster, success is “the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame.” But, I believe everyone has a different view of success & that’s what makes us so unique & beautiful. Success is a metric that is constantly changing and based on perspective. There are many different levels of success that can be used to influence strategy for the future. We believe that success is achieved whenever a specific goal is exceeded. The Weenie Wagon was started with the goal of selling unique gourmet hot dogs with an authentic hot dog cart experience. While The Weenie Wagon has achieved success in meeting this goal, we now plan to grow the business to bring this hot dog stand experience to a wider audience. Read more>>
