We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aaron, how do you think about risk?
For me, I simply do what I like. I love chances and opportunities! I’ve been through a hard life and those experiences have shaped me early on to realize that everything always works out so go for what you want and there’s nothing to lose. Things only get better so I don’t really like the label “risk” we came into this world with nothing. I’m not scared to go after what I want knowing that whatever I put my time into expands the way I want it to.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is just that. I’m one of one. Growing up I was always liked by being good at anything I picked up but I was always isolated. I liked spending time alone almost all of the time because my perspective is much different from everyone so finding people I relate to and understood me wasn’t easy. I pretty much gave up on people before I was even speaking. I stuck to things that brought me joy and that’s the love of creation. I’m proud to be completely independent especially in todays society. I always wanted to be accepted which was something I overcame to not care what people think. At the end of the day I know I’m one of the best to do what I do and there’s no other like me which more and more people get to see so staying true to yourself no matter how alone you feel is the biggest lesson. I was never into what everybody else is doing. Using my mind to do/create my own thing has always been my way and other appreciate that uniqueness about me and sheds a bright light to others.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend is coming to visit me, they already know we’re going somewhere in nature. I live in solitude. I’m all about love, peace and being surrounded by beauty and Northern California hosts some of the most scenic landscapes in the states that I constantly visit. I put others first majority of the time so I would plan around their interests but if it was up to me we’ll be in nature the whole week. Other than that I’m usually around the house/neighborhood and my way of getting out is I have the opportunity to work with a lot of different people who bring me that excitement of stepping into their world and seeing what they’re passionate about and working together. I build long lasting relationships with those people out of love so whenever I’m in need of what they have to offer I know who to call. I really don’t do favorites though, I’m with whatever the mood brings. I’m not picky, I enjoy everything. You can throw anything my way and I’ll make the most of that experience. I’m a big fan of flexibility too, I’m with whatever the other person is feeling so we can keep things up in the air and play it by ear.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
An artist once known by the name of De’Luv was a local artist that had his hands on everything. Producing, singing, producing stunning visual content, web coding and the list went on. The man did everything himself to put himself and others out there and it was inspiring at the consistent rate and level at which he did. Seeing him online mastering all the platforms and indulging in so many art forms making it all so appealing was something I’ve never seen and was exactly what I was into. That led me to follow in his footsteps studying all his moves and helped me grow exponentially. All his songs were the exact same experiences and vibes I went through and both of us being Taurus. Truly was the only person I idolized and felt a true connection to. Don’t know when/how or if I would’ve picked up on all those tools and perspective I have during that time period if it wasn’t for @thatstreal
