We had the good fortune of connecting with Abnormality and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abnormality, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Being me is the probably the most difficult decision I’ve made, it’s hard to be ones true self when everybody has an image or idea of what they want you to be. Everybody has opinions and try to force that on you, for me I knew what I wanted it’s was just about how to get there.

By being me I don’t let outsiders control what I’m doing, I don’t react on emotions, I live the day as if that’s all I had.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I moved around throughout my childhood..Currently residing in Houston,Tx

I would say that I’ve been molded by older people around me and the city’s I’ve been to.

Getting to where I am now was no easy task but that’s apart of the journey. That’s what makes it fun. I’m glad to have gone through those trails and tribulations because it made me who I am today.

I make music for those who feel out of place , who want to reconnect with themselves.
I think that’s why I go in and out of all genres.

Life taught me keep my head down but on a swivel. You never what could happen so you always have to be prepared. Mind your business, work hard for want you want and don’t stop no matter who or what tries to stop you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s all about what you wanna do. Houston is a vibe for sure!

Discovery green park

If you wanna party the clubs always popping

Food; you gotta find those little hole in the wall places.

You can take a 3 hr drive up to austin and float in the rivers.

It’s never boring in the city of stars

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to Big IVO (Major flow productions) for helping me find a sound and giving me real advice and guiding me along the way. Has been a big inspiration, true family.
