We had the good fortune of connecting with Aderinsola Oshadipe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aderinsola, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When my daughter turned 5 in 2023, my events designer/planner friend and I were working together on finding unique party decor and furniture for the party. We had a difficult time getting unique pieces of furniture around me. Most of the party rental companies that we found close by offered everyday furniture. This made it clear that there was a need and that i could enjoy meeting that need.
The party planning process was something I thoroughly enjoyed as well, so I knew that I had to share my love for unique pieces with other moms and families like me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It has not been an easy journey getting here; we have made start-up mistakes, encountered bad guidance, made unnecessary expenses, but we have also been supported by people around. It is still a learning curve as we navigate the new world of social media advertisement and all the available technology (booking apps, payment apps and so on).
On the artistic/creative side, we are expanding our services to include events design for kids parties (some of our clients love our pieces and we would love to style their events to bring out the best of these pieces) as well as intimate adult parties.

Lessons learned along the way……excitement is not enough, structure is EVERYTHING!

If I cannot use it, I will not rent it to you. We are very committed to providing premium service to our clients at every point in time. We desire that every encounter leaves our clients satisfied and retained.
As we grow and expand, we seek to partner with other businesses like event planners, event coordinators, events designers, artisans and other party vendors, to give clients the premium satisfaction.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is an amazing city!
If I had a friend visiting, I would take them to some of my favorite places:
Thaicoon for some nice Thai food
Famous Princess African Kitchen
Gauchos De Sol for some Brazilian feel
Typhoon Texas water park for a wild splash (summer only)
Kangas Place in Katy for kids play
The Galleria and Katy Mills for some premium shopping experience

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Sure! I will want to dedicate this to everyone who has supported me in this start-up journey, especially to the creative director of Partygoo Events in Lagos, Nigeria, for inspiring me to get started despite the fears I had and I still have, for always answering my questions and teaching me design tricks and tips.

To my family and close friends who make each step bearable, I would like to say a HUGE thank you.

I would also like to thank the creative director of Enchanted Events for her business mentorship, I cannot wait to build a better structure than what I currently have.
