Hi Alberto, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly it was for the freedom & time. I knew if I could have a successful business I would have a lot of time & freedom to do whatever I want when I want. My business lets me work from wherever I am since it’s an online business

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What I do for a living is branded dropshipping. So I pick a product online & create a whole branded store around it. Then of course if it gets traction, I get custom packaging for it. It definitely wasn’t easy though. I had 3 jobs in all of my life before my business took off & it was hard. I started my junior year of high school (2019) & on school nights I would stay up trying to learn more about dropshipping since I was barely starting out. I lost so much money & at the time I didn’t really have a good job so everytime I would lose $200 it would hurt since at the time I was working part time at a supermarket. Now fast forward to 2024 & I have my consulting agency Bands Of Ecom where I help people that are barely starting out to have success on dropshipping.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
That’s such a great question. Everytime someone comes out of town to visit me I want to make sure they have a unique experience with me, something that they have never really experienced before so sometimes what I end up doing is taking them to this spot where they have $100 helicopter rides & you can see the whole city. There’s this place that I love when it comes to tacos & that is Aguascalientes. I love to go to Magiannos little Italy for a night out as well. For fun, I would take them out clubbing if they’re into that, or if they never been to galleria I would take them there

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Who I feel that truly deserves more recognition in my story is my mom & dad. They didn’t really taught me anything when it came to business but they taught me the value of money. Taught me that no matter how much money I make to always make sure I don’t look down on people. They’re the ones that wanted me to take a different approach & to go to college & get a secure job but that’s because they were just looking out for me as good parents would do. I’m the kind of person that loves to prove people wrong so I wanted to prove my parents wrong, that I can actually make a career out of it. I’m not saying that they never believed in me but I was failing so much in the beginning to the point that they were worried about what I was actually going to do for my future since everyone that I know was going to college & there I was failing over & over again & losing money.
