We had the good fortune of connecting with Aleyda Solis-Cano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aleyda, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Through my real estate business, I get the opportunity to communicate with people from various ages, cultures, interests, personalities, etc. and I absolutely love connecting and working with everyone! I am also able to educate people on the housing market and guide them through the homebuying, selling, or leasing process. I love to devote myself to my clients by connecting with them and learning about their interests and needs to best serve them. By connecting with my clients, I aim to turn what could have been a stressful experience into not only a successful one, but also an enjoyable one. My clients are the core of my business and so I do my best to assist them with their home goals, guiding them to the best of my ability and going the extra mile for them! Serving my clients is what brings me the most fulfillment!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I pride myself in placing my clients at the core of my business. I connect and build relationships with them and listen to their needs and desires. I enjoy what I do so I often have a good laugh and time with my clients as well, which makes the entire experience much more enjoyable for everyone. I’m also always willing to go the extra mile for my clients, everyone is different, every situation differs, but my commitment is always the same.

Some of the attributes that set me apart are that: I prioritize my clients, I listen attentively and carefully to them, I am personable and I try to make the experience enjoyable, I am flexible and will try my best to accommodate, I provide quality work because I hold myself to a high standard, and I am 110% dedicated to my clients and their best interest.

Like any other business, starting a real estate business is not easy. I’m thankful for my mentors and colleagues who have kindly encouraged and guided me throughout. I’ve learned that the right people coaching you up can make a huge difference. Nothing in life comes easy and while your success is ultimately up to you, having a support system makes your goals the more attainable.

I’d like the world to know that I strive to provide the best service possible and I am honored to be able to have the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d start the day with some breakfast or brunch at Sleek Creperie and Cafe or Hugo’s. We would then explore the Houston Museum of Natural Science and experience an immersive experience at Seismique. Our next stop would be to enjoy some delicious food at Urbe Street Food from Mexico. Next, we would take a walk at Hermann Park and enjoy the Japanese Garden and its cherry and crepe myrtle trees and its beautiful azaleas. For dinner, we would enjoy some birria tacos at Birria Los Primos or the nearest taco truck. On day two, we would ride our bikes through the Buffalo Bayou and historic Downtown, dine in Traveler’s Table, and spend the evening skating at the Galleria. Day three, would consist of walking through the Woodlands Waterway and enjoying the arts, scenery, and restaurants. If we’re in for a thrill, we would indoor skydive at iFly and then we would sit back and relax and enjoy a broadway show at the Hobby Center. On Day four, we would check out Memorial City mall, its surrounding restaurants, and complete an Escape Room. We would then relish in a savoring dinner at Local Table. Houston has a rich diversity in culture, meals, historical and artistic venues, entertainment, naturistic gardens, and a plethora of interest points.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely not be here without those influential women in my life that paved the way for me to become an entrepreneur, who through their dedication, success, and devotion to service, have inspired me to find a way to serve my community. I would like to thank my mentors for providing me with knowledge and nourishing my desire to serve. Thank you for your continuous support and encouragement. Starting a business is no easy task and you have truly been amazing.
