We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Rubio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always challenged myself to be and to do what people say is impossible. As a medical assistant and mother of soon to be 7 kids of my own I am in the process of becoming a realtor. Learning and leading has always been a part of who I am as well as helping others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Houston is my favorite place to live! I would definitely take a friend to an astros game followed by lunch at gaucho’s do sul, not to mention a walk at discovery green park and dinner at Mastros steak house. Night life at standard bar and other bars on Washington.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to say that my encouragement comes from my mentor Benjamin Seguin, he has always been someone I’ve looked up to and he played a very important role in my upbringing.
