We had the good fortune of connecting with Andy Campos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andy, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I am far from a quitter, when I set my mind to something. No matter the difficulty, if I really want it. It’s time to give up when the goal you are trying to achieve doesn’t make you happy anymore. When it brings more stress and headache instead of happiness and joy. You can make money in any craft you put effort in. It’s totally dependent on YOU if you want to put the work into it or not.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from the competitors is, I do not use any soap products. An all-natural organic cleaner is all the difference it takes to bring the carpets back to life. I am prideful of bringing 100% satisfaction into every home I clean. What excites me is how far I’ve come. Established in November 2020 doing this part-time up until some months later in March 2021, quitting the 9 to 5 world and focusing on this full-time ever since. As the saying goes, “nothing worth it comes easy; if it was easy, it’s not worth it, if it’s worth it, it’s not easy” Opening up your own business, you are every position, so your business is 24/7 around the clock trying to figure out how to build that clientele. I want the world to know, when you hire me, I can assure you, I was trained by one of the best and now that I am on my own, your satisfaction is placed first and your carpets will come out cleaned correctly. I am a born and raised Houstonian and I just want to take care of my city. I feel like I am actually making a difference in the world by helping families live healthier lives, taking all the unmentionables from the carpets with me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Depending on what they are into, a mix of everything to fit into one week would be visiting some of the amazing hiking trails we have throughout the city and of course taking a stroll around Memorial Park(especially in the evenings to see the lights) Checking out the party-life down washington avenue is the place to be. And of course can’t miss out on the hidden gem known as Axelrad. Checking out Discovery Green and the Aquarium are a must. As far as places to eat, Jinya Ramen Bar, Whataburger if they aren’t from Texas and Saltgrass Steakhouse are just a few of my favorites. And they have to visit City Centre for a nice night out with live music, restaurants and overall fun.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I cannot mention his name, but it is all thanks to my trainer that taught me the invaluable information that I know now, in how to properly care for carpets and what are the best methods to get them as clean as possible. If it wasn’t for his teachings I would be a lost soul and would not have gotten inspired to go out and start on my own.
