We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Albright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antonio, how do you think about risk?
“You can measure opportunity with the same yardstick that measures the risk involved. They go together.”- Earl Nightingale, an American radio speaker and author, wrote these words in “How to Completely Change Your Life in 30 Seconds.” Every day that God allows us to wake up and get out the bed is a risk. Walking out the house, driving our vehicles to work is all a risk we take to better our lives by doing something in this world. Im Antonio Albright, owner of Exclusive Talk Media.

Born in Sacramento, California, raised in Houston, Texas, with family in Georgia. I like to say from the west to the south to the east! Exclusive Talk started in Houston Texas, March 2020, after working for a Houston company for 10 years as an operations manager of several stores for them. In my daily routine of a steady 9-5, I became comfortable and content until I read the quote from the book above. I know I wanted to leave a legacy and begin generational wealth. We start to become what we think, and I was thinking ownership.

With a vision in mind to shine light on the city’s local artist, businesses, brands, and while discussing topics to better our communities as a whole, Exclusive Talk Media was created. When leaving a steady income to going to $0 at the start, doubt starts to set in, thinking “This was a huge risk tooken!” I had to suspend disbelief and go back to we are what we think! With opportunities now in reach I wake up refreshed & inspired!

Doing collaborations with The Studio Radio Show & Free Game Productions as a segmented show on Saturday nights. In the midst of doing that we decided we wanted to have a platform for upcoming underground artist to be heard. We started going to showcases and searching for hot talented artist that took their craft seriously.

September 2020, we then started going live on Instagram on Thursdays to have the artist send in their music for music reviews. After listening & debates, we would determine which quality songs would make it to our station Exclusive Talk Radio. Our station has reached audiences not only in the US but Japan, Germany, and the UK!

As we continue to expand and network, I personally know there are going to be many more risk to take. I mean WE STARTED DURING A PANDEMIC. I May not make it to every football game or event now, but it’s the risk I take so they can have an opportunity to have a much better life & career than I have had.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Having to learn everything from scratch on the production side, marketing side, also learning to become an employer instead of employee! At the beginning, having to wear all the hats of a company, at the same time trying to team up with those who see the vision in a similar way as I do. It may start a tad difficult ,They might take a different path, but as long as the main goal is still in view, BUCKLE UP!

Exclusive Talk Media is not just in music but Online Radio where we broadcast music as well as getting exclusive interviews with entrepreneurs, content creators, musicians from everywhere! We like to focus on Underground Artist music who are not “controlled” by the “Industry”! I’m most proud that Exclusive Talk Radio reached overseas to a completely different audience than expected! We offer advertising space for businesses, live and pre-recorded interviews, promotion to a wider audience!

I can say nothing worth working hard for is easy. Gathering interviews, organizing notes, and setups are all things that do take time in preparation. the great thing is we love the hunt and the grind of getting the correct info and distributing it to the right audience. Again, with the assignment of wearing so many hats I have had trial and error, but that doesn’t stop us.

We want to continue to highlight local business, business owners, and local musicians & their music to the world through this Exclusive network.
