We had the good fortune of connecting with Any Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Any, what is the most important factor behind your success?
For me, success is defined when you focus on your goals – by chasing dreams and taking risks and action. Success is not just about money; it’s the journey in finding sincere happiness in what you do. Success is being able to come home from work and spend time with your family, seeing joy on everyone’s faces (something that comes from the heart and naturally), facing new challenges and striving to overcome them. This has been one of the things that has defined me as an entrepreneur since I have been in the United States, and I am so thankful to have been blessed with creativity, an eye for detail, and love in my heart for everyone I meet and all that I do. Success means to be constantly pushing the limits: success is always striving to improve, creating new habits, and ultimately working on your mind, body, and soul. Also- behind the success of my brand(s) comes attention to detail, great chemistry among my team, and a vision for creative expansion for the future! #AnyGo and #AnyGoCosmetics and Glamstar and many of my other media outlets have been motivated by my desire to not only produce good content, but also to inspire women (and moms) across the world to be the BEST version of themselves possible.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I feel like self discovery, persistence, resilience, and creativity are my biggest strengths; I’m proud of my efforts in working to becoming the best version of myself. Becoming the best mother, wife and daughter that I could possibly be, is, and always will be my first priority. I am so thankful to have had this opportunity, and I attribute much of my success to the fact that I’m always happy and I choose to look at the positive side of things at every situation. I always have faith in my heart that everything will workout the way it’s supposed to. always have a smile on my face regardless of the situation. Being persistent, focused, always looking and dreaming big have really been the keys to my success. Nothing worth having comes easy. It’s an ongoing process, there’s never a finish line — even though we might think there to be an end or an “end goal” — the journey to self awareness and professional savvy is always open for improvement. Life is all about perspective. By aligning my mindset with what I want, I feel I have been able to accomplish my biggest challenges and achieve both my personal and professional goals: challenges and problems always come with lessons and the opportunity to evolve. Lesson number 1: Do not stop! Always go for your dreams and keep moving! When you give time to your excuses, your goals will disappear. When you give time to your goals your excuses will disappear. Do what you want. YOLO (You Only Live Once): the time is now.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love all the locations in the Upper Kirby and Galleria area. You will always find me at places that have a sexy, fun, latin vibe and a good foodie scene. You’ll have to follow my page to see where I am this week!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my loving husband and two children: Gustavo, Marcelo, and Lucia. Gustavo, Marcelo, and Lucia: I dedicate my life and success to the love and encouragement that you give me on a daily basis. Of course, I acknowledge God and my family in Venezuela as well, but on the day to day, I would not be the woman, entrepreneur, and mom *best version of myself* without you! I wouldn’t be able to juggle the day to day without your help in carpool (ha ha) – Gustavo, and to my beautiful children- your love and smiles, heartfelt moments of sharing my life and my career give me strength and the motivation to create and constantly innovate.
