We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Hart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is moving at my own pace. When I started Avenzi Clothing I was 16 years old. I wanted my own brand since elementary. My passion for designing and selling clothes was one of the main factors that contributed to my success as well because this is something that I dreamed about and wanted to make happen at a young age.

What should our readers know about your business?
Avenzi Clothing is a Houston based business that ships worldwide but also provides on hand pick up for items in the Houston area. Pickups are also available periodically in Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio. Due to me commuting to college as well. My brand is known for distributing the latest styles and fashion pieces. We pride ourselves on providing customers with great quality clothing and great material. We are known as the business that provides pick-ups in various places in Houston. Customers can pick up items in Houston in the following areas; Downtown, Galleria area, Memorial Area, Houston Heights, etc. The thing that I’m most proud of about my company is the fact that I started this when I was 16 and now I’m just watching myself and my brand grow from an idea and dream I always saw myself doing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week I would take them to somewhere with water such as a water park, because I love the water. An amusement park as well, preferably Six Flags, and last but not least we can’t forget the mall. I would also take them to one of my favorite restaurants called Barnaby’s or a food truck growing Houston business that I see a lot of, to support our local food businesses.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Halle J is an upcoming and coming, skilled make up artist. She also has an active YouTube channel where she displays the steps to achieving the perfect make up look. Halle’s work speaks for herself. I can’t wait to sit in her chair. Her business Instagram is @Beautybyhallej
