Meet Ashley Taylor | Salon Owner and Stylist Extraordinaire!

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I genuinely care for people. I feel as though the fact that I genuinely care for the ladies that work beside me, as well as every client that comes in our salon, has been the biggest contributing factor for our success thus far. It’s very difficult to own and run a business but the care we show to each other makes for an environment I’d hope people really enjoy being in. I’m very lucky to have the ladies beside me and the clientele we have that’s for sure!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel as though we have a responsibility to our clients that’s much bigger than just hair, eyelashes, waxing, etc. We can change the way someone feels about themselves in just one visit. Someone can sit in our chair and go from feeling insecure to empowered, unconfident to a rock star, or just simply pampered and pretty. We help our clients create great impressions for some of life’s biggest events! It makes my heart feel so full to hear about dates where soul mates meet, job interviews that go so amazing, or even just a spouse seeing how great you look when you walk in the door! It’s why I do what I do. I love to help create those moments. You’re beautiful, let’s keep it that way!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love family days on Lake Conroe with our daughter! You can’t go wrong there! After that I’d say food at Whiskey Cake, dessert from Crave Cupcakes with a coffee for good measure, and honestly wine by a fire at home after! The quiet times with my husband where the world just sort of goes silent are the best for me.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Kinzey! Jordan! Alyse! Evelyn! Sunni! I want to send my sincerest love and thanks to each one of you for standing side by side with me in the trenches daily! Without your energy, loyalty, and support our culture simply would not be the same and I will always love and appreciate you for that.
