We had the good fortune of connecting with Avina and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Avina, what matters most to you?
A value that matters the most to me not only in my career, but also in my personal life is patience. I’ve learned that things will come at the right time and if meant to be. One can succeed and achieve great things by working hard. However, more than one’s hard work, talent, and skills, it is patience that guides us towards grandness. That is why patience plays an important role in my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Hard work, patience, and perseverance have contributed to my music achievements as an artist and songwriter. Music means the world to me and having so much passion for it makes it 100 times more exciting.

Songwriting, whether by myself or along with my producer, is great fun and very rewarding. Even more when I or other artists sing and record those compositions.

I look forward to the world knowing about me, knowing my voice, and listening to and enjoying the songs I write and sing as much as I do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take my best friend to the River Oaks area. Of course, brunch at Toulouse would be a must. After shopping around River Oaks, we would drive over to shop at the Galleria! Last but not least I would love to show my best friend The Heights area and the unique places to hangout and munch on food such as hot dogs at Good Dog and boba tea at Teaspresso Bar!

I want to dedicate my shoutout to my producer, Alawn. His support, mentorship, and encouragement have and continue to contribute in making my music dreams a reality.
