Hi Ayisha, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe that my authenticity is the most important factor behind the success of whatayishaeats! I make sure to show my true self & personality on my page & post completely honest food reviews. I also try my best to maintain a positive image and share about my personal life, I love when people show love under my posts or try out some of the places I review. Also I’m glad I’m helping people decide on where to eat. During this new year, I plan to grow my food blog even more. I’m very passionate about being a blogger, content creator, & a food influencer. I’m also in the process of turning this page into more of a business. I really enjoy doing what I do. my favorite things eating food & writing into one, what more could I ask for?What should our readers know about your business?
I started whatayishaeats, my food blog, in June 2019. It was a way for me to share my favorite food spots & recommendations. I’m excited for what the future has in store for me. I plan on making an actual website this year. I got to where I am today by being confident & consistent with posting content. I learned to just have fun with things. I started when I was only 17 still in high school & so far it has been an incredible journey. I want the world to know that I am a foodie by heart & I want to help restaurants obtain more business & bring in new customers.Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area & I wanted to show them the best time ever I would definitely take them shopping in the river oaks district. the area is very luxurious & one of the richest spots in Houston. with stores like Dior & Hermès to shop at, it’s one of my favorite places. there is also a upscale movie theater called ipic that has delicious food & entertaining movies. my favorite gelato spot called amorino is also located in river oaks & it tastes amazing. I always get the dulce de leche & pistachio flavors.Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give credit & recognition to my mom who has been super supportive of my food blog since day 1. I call her my manager sometimes because she is so hard working & helps me when she comes with me on my foodie adventures. from driving me to restaurants to helping me with the lighting on my photos, she always does it with a smile on her face. I would also love to shoutout my amazing followers who continue to support me & like, comment, share, & save my food posts. I love each & every one of my followers, they’re awesome.
