We had the good fortune of connecting with Becca Roses and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Becca, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Authenticity. I have always been committed to sharing the real me and leading with my heart. I truly believe when we show up as our authentic selves, we give others around us permission to do the same. When people come first before the outcome, you attract others that want you to succeed and you truly want to help others succeed. It’s a win-win.

When we are truly living in alignment with who we really are, it starts to inspire authenticity and confidence all around us.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I spent the first part of my professional working life in the hospitality industry. Always fascinated by people and how we interact with each other. How simply making people feel good was truly the art of hospitality. I know that helped to shape my brand today by keeping the people-focused side of things always at the forefront. It wasn’t easy to get where I am today. In fact, when my first two kids were little I worked over 50 hours a week and never really felt like I was going where I wanted in my career. That’s when I decided there had to be more to life and I was right, I discovered my entrepreneurial side when I started getting involved in projects that I loved, but ones that also gave me the freedom to work on my own time. Blogging was my gateway into this influencer/social marketing world, but since then it’s evolved into something bigger than I ever imagined.
Social media has connected me to so many women looking to do the same thing that I did. And that’s why I choose to mentor and inspire as many of them as I can through social media. We have this unique opportunity in the world we live in today to connect with people from all over the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, this is the best question ever! Entertaining is my love language. We would hit up so many amazing coffee shops such as Commonbond, A 2nd cup, and Blacksmith. For lunch, we would find ourselves at Pondicheri and Tiny Boxwoods. We would go shopping in River Oaks, the Galleria, and walk around the Museum District. The most exciting things to check out are in the heart of the city. If you can’t tell already, we would be eating very well. Some of the best spots for dinner we would go to are Helen the Greek, Postino, and Theodore Rex. I wouldn’t let her leave the city without getting some healthy treats from Awesome Bites Co. in the Heights. It’s simply the best and sweetest way to end the trip.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family. My family has always inspired me to reach for my dreams and go after those boldest and most audacious goals. I am also an audiobook junkie and LOVE listening to motivational books on repeat. Gabby Bernstein & Marie Forleo have been huge influences for me on the way I lead and think about entrepreneurship.
