We had the good fortune of connecting with Nina Sonier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nina, what do you attribute your success to?
Customer Service Etiquette!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m actually a shy person so I use to express myself through beautiful things. So what keeps me busy is, I always make time to learn something new relating to the beauty industry. I will think of something and make it and or do it. Always be open to learning new things, you’d be surprised how many things relate to one another. I absolutely love everything about the beauty industry. In my opinion makeup is a very skillful talent. I think what sets me apart is I go that extra mile for my clients. Especially my brides. It takes a lot of self discipline to progress in any craft. So to still be doing makeup and hair successfully after 10 years speaks volumes to me. It’s encouraging and motivating. It wasn’t easy and with things and new techniques constantly being introduced you have to be willing to invest in yourself, learn, and be open minded to things. I want the world to know I’m just getting started. Stay tuned….
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
On their first day we’d definitely wine down and relax and our first stop would be: Pure Vichy is a beautiful spa. We’d have a girl’s night at KISS, definitely go to my favorite Ruth Chris. Taste bar, KAMP, seaside Lounge…. Really depends on what all they’d like to do.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow, that’s cool…. So first I’d like to shoutout my Mother, and my Aunts for setting that beauty tone for me. And Lastly, major shout out to my clients, they keep me on my toes…. Whew lol. Thank you guys for continuing to chose my brand while I’m still growing.
