We had the good fortune of connecting with Blanka Molnar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Blanka, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
One thing outsiders are probably unaware of about Family Constellation work is how deeply unconscious family patterns influence our lives. Many people assume that their struggles—whether in relationships, careers, or emotional well-being—are purely personal or drills down to pure luck. However, in Family Constellation, we uncover how unresolved traumas, hidden loyalties, and multigenerational burdens (seven generations back) shape our and our children’s experiences in ways we might never suspect.
At Awarenest, I guide clients to recognize and release these unseen influences, creating space for profound healing and transformation even in one session. The process often brings unexpected clarity, revealing how patterns that seem personal are actually part of a much larger family system or family conscious.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career has been anything but linear, and it hasn’t always been easy to accept that. After graduating as an economist, I started working in corporate real estate. But at 26, I hit what some might call a midlife crisis—I felt unfulfilled and knew I needed a change. So, I left the boardroom behind and moved to California to become an au-pair. Suddenly, I was trading high-stakes negotiations to convince a toddler not to lock herself in the bathroom (yes, that really happened!).

That experience changed my life forever. When my au-pair visa expired, I returned to Hungary, but I had grown so much that going back to real estate no longer felt right. Instead, I packed my bags again and moved to London. Life there wasn’t easy—I lived paycheck to paycheck, working different jobs—but it was where I truly grew up. I learned so much about myself, and most importantly, it’s where I met my husband.

Fast forward, I moved to Texas for love and started my first, and now my second, small business: Awarenest. Looking back, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is this: don’t be afraid to change. It’s never too late. Don’t let others project their fears onto you—only you know what’s best for you.

So many times, I considered moving back to Hungary, where life would have felt safer and more predictable. But I didn’t—and I’m forever grateful for that. Every challenge and every leap of faith led me to where I am today. Through Awarenest, I now help others navigate their own transformations, guiding them toward deeper self-awareness and healing. My story is proof that sometimes, the most unexpected paths lead to the most fulfilling destinations

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Ultimate Week-Long Houston & Sugar Land Itinerary
If my best friend were visiting Houston and Sugar Land, I’d make sure they had an unforgettable experience, blending nature, history, amazing food, and hidden gems. Here’s how I’d plan the perfect trip:

Day 1: Welcome to Houston – A Taste of the City

Nightcap: Stop by Marfreless, the legendary hidden speakeasy with no sign, tucked away in River Oaks. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed yet mysterious evening.

Day 2: Space & The Boardwalk

Morning: Breakfast at Common Bond, enjoying their delicious croissants and coffee.
Midday: Shopping in The Galleria and exploring the trendy boutiques in Rice Village.
Evening: Dinner at Xochi, a fantastic Oaxacan restaurant downtown, known for its mole, tlayudas, and fresh-made chocolate. Afterward, we could check out a rooftop bar in the area for a nightcap.

Day 6: Outdoor Adventures & Farewell Feast
Morning: A slow morning at The Dunlavy, overlooking Buffalo Bayou.
Midday: Rent kayaks at Buffalo Bayou Park or take a walk along the trails.
Evening: A final celebratory dinner at Steak 48, one of Houston’s best steakhouses, to wrap up the trip in style.

Day 7: Brunch & Departure

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I believe every person who enters our lives does so for a reason—whether to teach, challenge, or support us. There are no coincidences. We attract people who mirror something within us, even in the most difficult relationships. For example, a micromanaging boss might be reflecting something deeper for us to recognize and heal.
With that in mind, my biggest shoutout goes to everyone who has been, is, or will be part of my journey. Each interaction, whether joyful or challenging, has played a role in shaping who I am today.
But the loudest and deepest gratitude goes to my husband, my greatest support, who stands by my side even through my wildest dreams.
I also want to honor all the healers, friends, and supporters who have cheered me on and walked with me on my healing journey, especially in 2024. Your presence and encouragement mean the world to me, as last year was a very challenging one!
Thank you!
