We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Hines and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My end goal is to be living comfortably doing what I love; making music. Have money to invest for residual income to set my daughter up for her future/family.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I rap and make music in hopes people can relate to stories I’m telling and what I’m saying in my songs. It’s never easy rapping while being against the grain. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is to keep moving forward. Not everyone is going to like what you do & that’s OK. I make music for myself and am blessed that others who don’t know me personally enjoy it as well.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in San Antonio most of my life, there are a ton of things to do, see, and eat. We’re definitely taking a look at the Tower of Americas/Alamo, going to eat on the Riverwalk and maybe grab a drink at The Pearl. Those are just downtown areas off the top of my head.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of family, friends, fans & most importantly my daughter who pushes me to grow the most every day.
