We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandy & Chris Diamond and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandy & Chris, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Networking! No matter what kind of business you have, or what kind of career you have, if you want to continue to elevate, staying consistent and network!
We put a lot of hard work into our brand, but networking with the right people has opened many more doors than just doing it alone. Building relationships, keeping your word, and being consistent reflect in who you are, and what you represent.
Always be grateful. Showing that gratefulness to those that believe in you will just keep that door open to flowing opportunities!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Most podcasts don’t make it past episode 7. It’s not easy. Nobody holds you accountable except yourself. You have to show up whether you have 2 listeners, or 2 million..
There are always going to be challenges. Being challenged pushes us out of our comfort zones, and I believe greatness is waiting on the other side. Do things that you’re afraid of doing. It’s ok to fail. Failing gives us insight of what to do differently next time.
One of the most important things I learned was taking time away when I needed it the most. Workaholics become burnt out, start to hate what they once loved, and it doesn’t seem fun anymore. It’s important to take time for yourself, even if it’s to reevaluate what’s working and not working.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, if you listen to our podcast you know we love great food and great drinks! I would take my friend to some of the best restaurants Dallas has to offer, and where we can have some of the best cocktails in town!
I might also take them on a winery tour in our area. So many great wineries in Texas that we get the pleasure of working with on our show.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband. My partner in life, my cohost, and the man behind the success of our podcast. He has been with me on this show since day one, even though his role has changed along the way. We balance life, careers, children, and our podcast together. I truly couldn’t have done this without him.
