Hi Brieanna, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was that I wanted to incorporate one of my career paths into a business . I have always wanted to work for my self & own my own business so I decided to start a mental health matters loungewear line ! It’s a mixture of my Career path while starting a business ! I found a way to accomplished two goals in one .

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
This is a black owned Mental Health Matters Loungewear line . The owner Brieanna Conway is a mental health advocate who is working on spreading more awareness & getting people to get the necessary help they need to live a healthier life ! All of that starts with your mental state . This line is about more then just selling product it is about making a difference & being the Positive change . Breaking Generational curses , having a healthier mental & emotional mindset . And most importantly healing !
As you can see this loungewear line is more than just about selling clothing items . Each item has a positive affirmation on it . The website offers different coping mechanisms on how to deal with different mental health issues . I have added a suicide hotline & different websites / apps someone can use to seek a therapist . This line is impactful , educational & will be the start of a positive change .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot honestly is anything that involves an adventure. In my city I love to do water activities like going swimming , tubing , water parks etc. so there is no specific place for me I just enjoy having a good time ! Especially food! So I would take her to do something we have never done before . Houston is so diverse & fun . There is always something to do here .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, I would love to shout out God , family , friends & anyone who has supported me & my business . You guys are so amazing & I am so blessed to have you guys be apart of this journey in my life . Mark my words …. This is only the beginning. And I will make a positive impact on this world.
