We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Grubbs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, what are you inspired by?
I am deeply inspired by good music, wholesome conversations, and the earths grand soil. Motherhood is my life. I am drawn to the real, the raw, and the authentic moments that make us who we are. The struggles, the anxieties, the vulnerabilities we house inside with a deep yearning to challenge those thoughts and actions to bring out the beauty within.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am the photographer who is always keepin’ it REAL. My biggest goal within my work is digging deeper into my client connections than just an outward appearance. My intention is to amplify you in your own personal way that makes you different and uniquely beautiful. My goal is to rekindle romance, jubilation even the trials or pain you have bringing forth the realism in humanity and the beauty that is housed within each of us. My style is hella funky retro and get down on some vintage throwback vibes. Give me a good boho whimsical story and your journey is mine to tell! My brand manifest intimacy through touch and details. Pushing through anxieties my clients trust me to make them feel comfortable in the most vulnerable of moments.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite places to go include the Houston HipHop Vintage flea market and good sushi at Michiru. Concerts at all our amazing venues. Maybe a stop at the breweries for a drink!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
MY biggest supporter is my long time boyfriend of over 12+ years, Jorge Azuara Jr with Mindful Makes. He is my rock, my cheerleader, and a fellow creative!
