Hi Brittany, what do you attribute your success to?
believe the Most Important factor of my Brand is Networking .. Over the Years I have been able to attack the Industry with leaps and strides, not all because of what I know but definitely because of who I know, Creating genuine Relationships allows you to have an unlimited amount of resources.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I am the Owner Of Merida. B Events is a Full-Service Event Planning company based in Austin, Tx what sets me apart from many other event planning companies is that I specialize in a variation of services from Corporate, Social, and Speciality Event Planning, design, coordination, Wedding Officiant, Mobile Bartending as well as a Mobile Notary

I am most proud of the Opportunities that I have been presented with and watching the growth in my business I just got Booked for an Afro tech event here in Austin, Tx which is an International platform and I am constantly getting new opportunities to expand my brand and talents I have been booked and busy. It’s just an amazing feeling to watch the seed you planted grow

I got to where I am in my career today by Trusting God, Keeping Faith, and never giving up

it was not easy but worth every step whenever I do come across challenging moments, I sit still revisit and find solutions it’s easier to focus on the good over the bad despite how it looks or feels just keep going

I have learned that with God all things are possible and to stay true to the vision and desires of your heart

I want the world to know that Merida. B Is an International Brand I will grace the world with my many gifts and talents and continue to strive with a limitless mindset

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I would start the day with Yoga at Black Swan Yoga because to be strong in the mind is to be strong in the Body then Head to First Watch for Breakfast and get me a Morning Meditation drink they are amazing

I would go Shopping and Wonder around the Domain because it’s always something going on or Thrifting because I love a Good Hunt and Find. I love nature and just exploring my life is rarely planned I believe in living in the moment and going with the flow it’s Austin so it’s plenty to do!

Some of my Favorite Places to eat would be 1618 also known as Asian Fusion, or Deckhands Oyster Bar because I have a seafood addiction lol, and go either there or crawfish shack at least 2 times a week My daughter loves Chicken so always looking for new Chicken spots around town but Popeyes is her favorite

I’m more of a social drinker but I enjoy Sunday Funday the most its a must you stop by the Bella Bar with my Brother D.Bunton and Curtis Jerells they def have the Sundays on lock , I love the Lowkey but Lavish Life Self-care days of Pampering and eating good surrounded by my family and friends are always the Best. I love going to Parks, getting a boat on the lake, or Hikes at Mount Bonnell

I love a good concert, girls’ night out on the town, or just overall new Experiences

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to Shout out to My Family My Daughter Pieume , Mother Lestelle, Dad Harvey, and Sister Latoya are there at my core, and without them and God none of this would be possible
