We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittni Mosbey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittni, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Well As for me My thought process behind starting my own business was to make sure that I Pray and ask for guidance on making legit decisions also how to start my foundation with my Acting Career as well as trying to figure out what’s best for the kind of business and brand I’m trying to launch.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I loved Music and being in front of the camera since I can remember. I first started singing when I was around 8 years old my mom would play gospel music every morning at 5am while cleaning and cooking breakfast for me and my Lil brother. The melodies made me wanna since the day away. Growing up my mom kept me active modeling, Acting classes photo shoots and Disney World vacations every year. As I got older I transitioned to rapping, I always did write poetry so it was a win win lol. Then around the age of 12 I began photo shoots working in music studios etc. that’s when I realized I wanted to something different in the world. At the age of 17 I left home and went on my journey I learned and loss but I never give up that’s the difference between me and other Artists or Actress or business entrepreneur I learned my mission in this life is to spread Self love and Positivity. In order to love others u must love yourself that’s my goal. To motivate and inspire those who may need a Lil positive vibes or words or a smile. That’s my mission. My brand is Called Nique Nation “ LoyaltyB4Royalty” That’s My motto.. my Legacy gonna be Remembered by those who I have put a smile on their faces those who I prayed with and for, those who I inspired to love themselves and never ever give up on their dreams. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ve always wanted to have a girls trip I just don’t have any loyal girl friends that’s willing to make memories and have fun. I’m the friend who’s always down for a night on the town or to travel to a different state. I’m originally from New Orleans Louisiana And a lot of people come to my city 🌃 for our delicious 😋 creole Food 🥘 our culture our music 🎼 etc. My favorite place to grab a quick bite is a Black owned business by the name of taste_of_neworleans. U can find her business on Instagram if u love seafood she’s the person to go too. She clean and very down to earth. Food be delicious 🤤 I also love to the French Quarters and watch the view on the levy or go to the River walk and shop. I travel to Houston a lot due to my music being promoted and my brand being promoted here so a few of my colleagues love when I take them to my city We party we sip and we make memories. My City 🌃 Is all about having fun 🤩 we love family we love love and I’m all about self love.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wanna First Give A shoutout to Allah for Allowing me to inspire Others around the world. Secondly I wanna give a shout out to a Phenomenal Woman who I have been inspired by since she has been on the scene Ms. Teyana Taylor I’ve studied her ambition and hard work ethics. Shes wise and down to earth one of the hardest working Woman in the business. She’s one of the reason I’m aiming high and working hard towards my Dream of being an Actress. I see myself in her so much. I wanna shout out her for making away for Real Hard working Upcoming Actresses to be able to Manifest their own dreams and to never take no for an answer..
