We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Lindsay and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Courtney, how does your business help the community?
I am one of thousands that now embrace their ability to channel, speak to angels and ancestors and then share that information with others to empower them. The more the rest of the world knows who they are in this vast universe and trust they can untangle the sometimes confusing path their higher self called in the better we all move the world forward. I want to continue to allow this gift to be shared with those that need it but don’t feel it’s really a business. It’s more a gift I strategically share with those that need it.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
This prose is to describe what sets me apart form others. As a spiritual guide I never studied under someone, in fact I go out of my way not to read many texts or listen to the stories of other guides “healers” etc. because it clouds the purity of what it is I am meant to offer. I don’t view this gift as something to build a business around or to master. I am an “accidental gardener” as my mom calls me and it’s the same for this spiritual gift. What sets me apart is I’m not scared to tell peop[e I had a spiritual awakening in my closet one day before Thanksgiving, fell to the floor, and never looked back. I didn’t question it or wonder what others would think. I simply listened. And that’s why I am able to still clearly listen and channel for others. Trust, no intellectualism in it simply listening and sharing what I am supposed to and holding close what I am not supposed to share.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Favorite spots in the city for me are Topo for authentic cuisine and good wine. My backyard. Hermann Park. Graffiti art throughout the city.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother and nature is where I draw my ability to trust the power to connect to angels, guides and loved ones. It has always been my place to draw calm and power from. My mother and mother earth. Now in my marriage I feel seen and held even in uncertain times, and without that soft landing place and deep pure love I wouldn’t be able to hold space for others to see their path and speak to their guides. My wife is hands down the reason I am able to do the work I do for others.
