Hi Chelsea, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite quote is “get comfortable with being uncomfortable”. My distance coach would tell this all throughout college and especially during the hardest part of races. I used to dislike this quote more than anything because in full spec, being uncomfortable isn’t fun or happy.

But in business, and especially being a business owner you have to be willing to take risks and chances even if those said risks are just small ideas that live in your head. It’s important to write things down have a vision a plan for execution and most of all hope. The more I thought about this quote over time, I realized that it wasn’t glorifying discomfort but highlighting the benefits that could come once you get comfortable with taking chances that could lead to opportunities.

If we continue to live in our bubble of comfort and routine even- our days would be mundane and meaningless

ChelseaTTV is a webcast that highlights local entrepreneurs, business owners, restaurants, philanthropist and really anyone doing amazing things in and throughout the city.

I believe that my brand is special because it’s not a podcast but a webcast and a tv show based series. A lot of work goes into the back end of production and planning. I have poured so much of my heart into creating this brand.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Dinner and drinks are always the best idea! I love how houston just launched “post”- you can get great eats and shop! The galleria is always chic and a great time.

Joey uptown is modern and has great eats

If you enjoy needing out the houston museum is always a great place to go during the day.

Whether you want a food truck, place for photos or want to hang out for night life off westhemier or downtown / houston is the place to be

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I think me giving a shout out to the people I have interviewed throughout my talk show host career is who I’d like to think. This is the people that believed in me when it seemed the idea of a small or maybe didn’t even make sense. These are the people who took risks and who backed me up because they believed in my journey in my dream. Without my the people I interview, there would be no audience, there would be no story! They bring so much life in meeting to ChelseaT TV
