Hi Chiedozie, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My goal is to become a well-known and respected figure in the acting, modeling, and entertainment industry. I aim to be recognized for my work ethic, creativity, and positive impact on others. I want to build a lasting legacy that goes beyond my career. A legacy that inspires the next generation of athletes, models, and creatives to pursue their dreams and tell their own stories. By the end of my career, I aim to have established a successful brand that showcases my talents, and opens doors for others to succeed and make their mark.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a model and actor signed with NaturallyFitAgency, my journey has been about bringing stories to life through fashion, commercials, and creative collaborations. What sets me apart is my background as an athlete and a first-generation American from Nigeria. My upbringing has shaped my unique perspective and drive today. Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy and there were many challenges along the way. Breaking into the industry to find my voice and collaborating with creatives has taught me perseverance, and self-belief. I’ve learned that creating opportunities is key to everything. I’m most proud of the progress I’ve made and the connections I’ve built. My goal is to inspire others by showing that with hard work and resilience, you can carve out your path and tell your own story.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend visited Houston for a week, I’d take them on a mix of cultural adventures. We’d start by exploring downtown at Discovery Green, catch a Rockets game at Toyota Center, and play basketball at Root Square Park. During the week, we’d visit the Museum District, shop at the Galleria, and explore some parts of Montrose and The Heights. We would also work out at a popular gym called Aplhalete before eating out at some great spots in the city. Houston is known for its diverse food scene, so I would take my best friends to restaurants they have never been to. I would also take them to networking events to meet creatives at Sanman Studios. Then go watch a football game supporting the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! First and foremost, A big shoutout goes to the modeling agency I’m represented by, NaturallyFitAgency. I want to thank the director, Annette Dominguez, and my agent Jacqueline Shakta for bringing me in and teaching me so much about the industry of modeling and acting. I want to extend a special thanks to my acting coach at the agency, Nikki Soohoo. Nikki’s guidance and expertise as a respected and accomplished actor have been invaluable to my journey in pursuing an acting career. I’d also want to recognize the coaches and mentors who guided me as an athlete in basketball and football. All the coaches from AAU, high school, and Sam Houston State University have made a big impact on my life. I also want to shout out the photographers, videographers, creatives, and fellow models who have collaborated with me along the way. Lastly, I’d like to thank the books and stories that inspired me, particularly those that highlight the journeys of athletes and creatives who overcame challenges to achieve their dreams. All of these influences have significantly shaped who I am today, and I’m grateful for every bit of support I’ve received.
