We had the good fortune of connecting with Chimere Bacon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chimere, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started Boss Up Houston Network, it was meant to be a platform where small businesses, entrepreneurs, and ministries could promote, advertise, encourage, uplift, and build their brand. I felt that there was a lack in resources for many small businesses and especially start ups. I wanted to be the network that provides resources as well as promotion to get the entity to the next level. It has been a journey, but well worth it. We are now a full scale network that streams local, national, and international. We are steadily growing and hope to compete with major networks in the near future.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
If you have ever watched a show or podcast on Boss Up Houston Network, you know that we pride ourselves on individuality. It is important that as a brand, you have your own identity. This is what sets Boss Up Houston Network apart. We are about helping others build, and promote their individual brands and also creating a promotional platform for the network itself.

There were many challenges starting out with this brand, we have been doing this for a long time, even before podcasts where the in thing, its funny how, sometimes, you are before your time, in creatives. It is also a great moment, when all that you worked for starts paying off. This is why it is important to “Trust the Process” and complete efficiently.

I would like the world to know that, we are a small network now, but we are looking to become a household name. We want everyone to support, like, share, subscribe and be a part of our journey.

Don’t Forget, to Look Up, Stay Up, and Boss Up!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston alone is great city, there are many attractions. The first stop is of course, BOSS UP HOUSTON STUDIOS. All we have to do is stop in on a list to see some of the hosts and podcasters in action. Next to get a bite to eat, let’s hit up Taste of Texas, this is a great restaurant with a great selection for all.
Then we can work off some of that food at the Sky Zone, this place is the indoor skydiving facility that allows you to experience the jump, without the worry.
Lastly, B’s Wine Bar, in Sienna, we love this place. It is very entertaining, and relaxing for the best wine down ever!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out to all of the Boss Up Houston Network Team, Staff, Engineers, and Talk Show Hosts. We have been on this road together, and we have made it to a great successful point. I would also like to thank all of our supporters, with out your support we could not be where we are today. Thank you!
