We had the good fortune of connecting with Chrisnatha Derosier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chrisnatha, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
As a certified life and transformation coach, I define success as the alignment of purpose, passion, and action. It’s not about the external accolades or milestones alone; it’s about living in a way that honors your core values and maximizes your unique gifts. True success, in my view, is deeply personal—it’s found in how you grow, how you serve, and how you impact others along the way.
For me, success is when you’ve cultivated a life of meaning, where your goals and achievements reflect your authentic self, and you’re at peace with both your progress and your process. It’s a journey, not a destination, and it’s about embracing the fullness of who you are while continually striving toward your highest potential.
For women, especially, redefining success often involves breaking free from societal expectations and stepping into their God-given purpose. It’s about recognizing that success doesn’t have to look one particular way but instead can be defined by the depth of your personal fulfillment, your spiritual growth, and the legacy you leave behind.
What should our readers know about your business?
At Masterpiece Coaching and Consulting Firm, we specialize in helping individuals—especially women—step into their God-given purpose with confidence and clarity. What sets us apart is our holistic approach to transformation. We don’t just focus on professional or personal growth; we help clients connect their faith, purpose, and goals, ensuring they build lives that are meaningful, intentional, and aligned with their values.
I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had in empowering women to embrace their “Main Character Energy” and confidently pursue the life they were designed to live. Seeing my clients evolve, break through limiting beliefs, and step into their true potential is what excites me the most. It’s more than coaching—it’s transformational work that changes lives.
Getting to where I am today business-wise wasn’t easy. Like most entrepreneurs, I faced challenges with imposter syndrome, finding my niche, and navigating the ups and downs of growing a business. I overcame these hurdles by staying grounded in my faith, continuously investing in my own personal development, and building a support network that uplifted me through difficult times.
Some of the greatest lessons I’ve learned along the way include the importance of resilience, the power of authenticity, and the value of trusting the process. It’s easy to get discouraged when things don’t go as planned, but I’ve learned that every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Staying true to my purpose has been key to pushing through those difficult moments.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that Masterpiece Coaching and Consulting Firm is more than just a business—it’s a mission. We are here to help people see themselves as the masterpieces they are and to guide them in building a life that reflects that truth. Our work is deeply rooted in faith, transformation, and empowering individuals to live with purpose and confidence. Whether through coaching, speaking, or courses, our goal is to ignite lasting change and help people redefine success on their own terms.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Houston for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the city’s rich culture, amazing food scene, and some local hidden gems. Here’s what our itinerary would look like:
Day 1: Downtown Houston & Discovery Green We’d start by exploring downtown Houston. A stroll through Discovery Green would be a perfect introduction to the city’s vibrant energy. Lunch at The Rustic for some live music and great Southern-inspired food would be a must, and we’d end the day with a sunset view at the Buffalo Bayou Park where we could rent bikes and soak in the beauty of the Houston skyline.
Day 2: Museum District & Hermann Park I’d take them to the Museum District, starting with the Museum of Fine Arts and the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Both offer incredible exhibits. We’d have a picnic at Hermann Park and paddle on McGovern Lake. Dinner at Lucille’s, a soul food restaurant with an upscale twist, would cap off the day.
Day 3: A Taste of International Flavors Houston’s diversity means incredible global cuisine. We’d start with a morning trip to the Houston Farmers Market. For lunch, we’d head to Chinatown to enjoy dim sum at Ocean Palace, and in the evening, try some authentic Vietnamese pho at Pho Binh. I’d love to introduce my friend to Houston’s famous food trucks too—places like Oh My Gogi! for late-night bites.
Day 4: Galveston Day Trip A day trip to Galveston Island would give us some time by the beach. We’d explore the historic Strand District, take a walk along the Pleasure Pier, and enjoy seafood at Gaido’s with views of the Gulf. Galveston’s charm and the nearby water make for a refreshing change of pace.
Day 5: Shopping & Art Scene We’d spend the day shopping at The Galleria, one of Houston’s iconic malls, and then visit the Houston Graffiti Building and The Heights for some unique street art and local shops. For dinner, we’d visit Nancy’s Hustle, a local favorite known for its creative dishes and cozy vibe.
Day 6: Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (Seasonal) If my friend visited during rodeo season, this is a non-negotiable stop. We’d experience the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, complete with carnival rides, live performances, and, of course, rodeo action. It’s a quintessential Houston experience that shows off the city’s roots.
Day 7: Brunch & Wine Down We’d close out the week with a laid-back brunch at Backstreet Cafe, followed by a visit to CityCentre for some shopping and people-watching. To wind down, we’d visit Memorial Park for a nature-filled afternoon hike. For our final night, we’d head to Post Houston, an incredible rooftop venue, to enjoy the skyline views and some international eats from its food hall.
Houston is full of hidden gems and exciting places, and this week-long itinerary would only scratch the surface. I’d want my friend to leave feeling the warmth of the city, with a taste of its rich cultural diversity and southern hospitality.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible support, mentorship, and encouragement I’ve received from so many along my journey. First, I have to give a huge shoutout to my faith and God’s guidance in my life. Every step of this journey has been grounded in prayer and leaning on my faith, especially in moments of uncertainty.
In terms of people, my family has been my rock. Their unwavering belief in my vision for Masterpiece Coaching and Consulting Firm gave me the confidence to step out on faith and build something meaningful. My close circle of friends and colleagues have also been constant sources of encouragement, offering wisdom, brainstorming ideas, and being there to celebrate every win, no matter how small.
I also want to recognize my mentors, both personal and professional, who poured their knowledge and experiences into me. Their guidance helped shape not only my business but the way I approach life and serve others.
A special shoutout goes to the John C. Maxwell books, particularly The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth. It played a pivotal role in my personal development and growth as a leader and coach. Lastly, I want to acknowledge the countless women I’ve worked with and coached. Their resilience, strength, and determination inspire me daily and motivate me to keep pushing forward in this purpose-driven work. They are the heartbeat of Masterpiece Coaching.
I’m standing on the shoulders of many incredible people, and I’m eternally grateful for each and every one of them.
