We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Osornio Pena and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christian, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to make massage therapy and skincare accesible for everyone. Having my own business allows me to control my location, I can serve clients in my office or at the convenience of their location. Seven days a week any time during the day. It also allows me to take time for myself to rest and reset when I need it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
One of the things that I take pride in personally and professionally is that I have a flexible schedule of availability for my clients. It is one of the many things I love about being the boss of me. I have kept a great network of therapists and Estheticians that I have been working with for many years who still choose to trust me and work with me and that is priceless. I love the spontaneity and change of scenery that can happen any day in my business, no two clients are the same and they all have different needs. different schedules and different goals. However my goal with each client is always that they get up from my treatment table better than when they go on it! As most people who have massaged anyone at any time you can guess my job is not easy but I do it with love. It is extremely rewarding to offer relief from pain to my clients. To give them clear and bright skin results. I want the world to know that whatever your walk in life is you are welcome in our space, we love our city and the diversity of cultures that it has to offer it is actually my favorite thing about our city!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends come to visit Kemah I take on walks around the boardwalk, most people are familiar with the Kemah boardwalk but not all the cute little lighthouses and homes around the area! I like to take them to T bone Tom’s for some good old BBQ which I don’t eat since I’m pescatarian but the have vegetarian and pescatarian options as well. I like to take them to Voodoo Hut for some drinks if that’s what they want to do, If they want some great coffee we head over to Art of Coffee and then of course some yummy Ice Cream from Cool Cow Creamery. There is so much to do in Kemah whether you want a peaceful escape or a fun and exciting day you can have it all here.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I could write a very long list that would go on and on about all the amazing people in my life who believed in me as an entrepreneur before I saw it myself. I want to thank and recognize so many, however it is thanks to Kristen Sanders from Fly Girl Habits that I was able to settle my home base for my business in Kemah, TX. She guided me and mentored me in the beginning days of my business. All of my amazing friends and clients who trust me and continue to send me referrals as well.
