We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cynthia, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m a Texas woman with pure southern hospitality that runs through my veins. I’ve always been supported by a village of forward thinkers, entrepreneurs, educators, and public servants. My foundation has been built on my Faith in God that has carried my family and I through many of life’s highs and lows, and responsible for shaping who I am today. The passion to serve others has been a constant thread woven into every chapter of my journey. From elementary school I can remember asking the teacher to allow me to read to the other students as I had finished my reading early. Continuing in middle and high school; I’ve volunteered to help organize activities, share with others new things I recently learned, support events and help plan community outreach programs. Seeing a need triggers my instinct to create a resolution.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Sight C Travel began indirectly with my request for a business partner to plan a trip for me. She was willing to do so, however highlighted the benefits of starting my own business and planning the events myself. For years I have created travel experiences for my personal family and friends’ travel. However, I never took the opportunity to infuse those skills into beginning a full travel business. Many times, I was approached by others to join their team in the travel industry, and I had always said no. During those years I operated in fear of other’s opinions and what lack of support I may receive. I’ve always viewed entrepreneurship as the Mount Everest of life’s achievements. When I was ready to say yes, the decision was not difficult as I’d once believed. I knew then I had enough experiences to infuse my passion for service with the incredible travel industry.

I’ve always been passionate about helping others achieve their dreams, aspirations, and goals. My love for service, combined with a joy for travel, brings a professional approach to curating experiences for others. With a sharp eye for detail, I ensure my client’s travel experience is as seamless and stress-free as possible. I’m elated that I’ve partnered with a phenomenal village of business mentors, supporters, and educators who help me take my business to the next level at every turn. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to continue to pay it forward and share the gift of owning your own travel business with others.

A lot of people don’t know that when they book with a travel advisor, we don’t have to charge extra because vendors pay us directly. Even for those who like to handle their own arranagments and book excursions, transportation, villas, rental vehicles, etc. I supply a full service booking engine directly on my website!

As an advisor I not only provide travel needs but many other experiences can be obtained with my services. Activities include; concerts, NBA games, NFL games, comedy shows, theme park tickets and much more!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Dedicating this Shoutout to my mother Carrie. She’s been true example of a woman of God. Her selfless lifestyle produces numerous examples of what it means to possess a servant’s heart.
