Hi D, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
From a young age, I always knew  I wanted to work in the beauty industry and be my own boss. As I got older, I became increasingly aware of the mistreatment of employees and clients in the industry and wanted to make a change. After becoming a nail technician, I noticed how the clients were treated, and I knew that I could provide a better experience for both parties.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I offer a pedicure with a twist, a water-less pedicure experience! As a certified medical nail technician and podiatry assistant, my priority is to ensure that every guest has a safe and healthy experience. CBD and steam treatments are used to enhance the experience. Our services begin with a thorough foot assessment, which includes educating guests on foot health, outlining the service, providing a home regimen, and determining if podiatry attention is necessary. We specialize in pedicures, with a particular focus on diabetic guests. We also offer nail enhancements to make your experience memorable. I also get the opportunity to travel and provide guests with this amazing experience!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

• First and foremost, my parents have always been my biggest supporters and encouraged me to follow my dreams.
• My dad for always supporting my business ideas
• My mom introduced me to the beauty industry and taught me how to handle business.
• My grandmother graciously allowed me to practice my nail skills at her house, while I was still in school.
• My aunts, who were my first clients and have been with me every step of the way.
• Shawn, the owner of the first nail salon I worked at, took the time to teach me the basics and helped many other aspiring nail technicians who received their licenses in high school.
• Mrs. Anita inspired me with her passion for the endless possibilities in the nail industry.

My family has been an incredible support system throughout my career, and I am forever grateful for their unwavering encouragement. Shoutout to them!!!
