We had the good fortune of connecting with David Gomez Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be that I made a huge impact in the industry from clothing, acting, modeling, entrepreneurship, etc. I want to be remembered for who I am outside of the industry. The real genuine supporting person that I always have been and my creativity in my craft.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is inspirations/roles models & my plan the way I sort my work out, what I can say I’m proud of and excited about is that I have finally been connected with an agency and connected with my mentor . I’ve gotten to where I am today by just doing what I believe would get me far and putting in the work and effort, it was definitely not easy after I had taken a short pause in my passion, I overcame my challenges by going at my own pace and not giving up, the lessons that I’ve learned is to be patient and to never quit on what you want in life and that making mistakes are apart of growing, that saying no is okay and that not everyone liking you is acceptable. I want the world to know that my work has major meaning and that hopefully my work can influence people as well as my role models influenced me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had someone visiting my city we would go to Downtown Houston and just go with the flow we would first probably visit the galleria do some shopping, then eat out at a nice lounge Parma , seaside lounge some hookah bar and hang out, grab a room at the post oak hotel and visit a night club in the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
For starters I wanna give the well deserved credit to my “Mother” I never would’ve even thought to start a brand had it not been for the situation we were in together. My deceased role models “Uncle & Grandfather” who inspired me to be a true hustler, My mentor “Kayla Parilla” that’s been giving a lot of new pointers and game in the industry also my cousin “Laterryan” for motivation along the way.
