We had the good fortune of connecting with David Sosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
It has been a slow and steady growth but by design. In order to build for longevity and to build something sustainable you need consistency, passion behind your efforts, and insane laser focus. Although, our success hasn’t been super crazy, we are focused towards long term impact.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’ve had an entrepreneur mindset since high school and have always thought about how I can find a way to combine all of my passions while also scaling to a level where I can monetize and build opportunities for those around me. I’ve had 3 businesses fail before hand but I think they all taught me valuable lessons to be able to grow Bluswitch. Lessons like getting the right team around you, defining a clear and ambitious vision, and setting up systems that can lead to that vision.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Houston so much and believe it is one of the greatest cities of all time. I love its diversity and the fact in one street I can find all kinds of foods from all backgrounds. One of the first things you need to do is just go to any area where you can find a skyline of the city. It is one of the most beautiful sites. Then I’d say you can’t go wrong with going for some Ramen, Japanese Bar b q, and then go to the streets of downtown to just soak in the sights. Or go to Herman Park and have some fun there. Literally so much to do.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shoutout to the Bluswitch TEAM. Oscar, Fernando, Priscila, Teo, Joshua, Edward, Cesar, Kimberly, Jerson, Christian. Everyone from the beginning, to this moment, has believed in a vision greater than themselves. They have all unselfishly sacrificed of their time and energy. They’re the type that even if in 10 years we don’t see the outcome expected and if we haven’t grown one bit they would still be all in.
