Hi David, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The creation of YUSO emerged as a response to that search—an outlet to channel creativity and self-expression. Designing clothes and putting pieces together became a space where everything clicked. It unlocked a level of creativity that felt natural and exciting, a flow that was missing in other areas. The process of bringing ideas to life through design wasn’t just about making clothes—it became a way to communicate who you are, tell stories, and inspire others to pursue their passions.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
YUSO is more than just a clothing brand; it’s a movement rooted in the idea of putting your soul into everything you do. The name itself reflects the core belief that any craft, dream, or passion becomes extraordinary when you dedicate your heart and soul to it. YUSO is about inspiring others to chase their dreams and reminding them that their work can be an extension of who they truly are.

What makes YUSO stand out is the soul and intention behind every piece. Every design, every drop, carries a deeper meaning and reflects my journey, creativity, and authenticity. My goal is to create a family through YUSO—a community where people not only wear my designs but also feel empowered and inspired. I want to share what I’ve learned along the way and provide knowledge to others who are chasing their dreams, just as I am.

This journey has been filled with challenges, but those experiences have shaped me and this brand. I’ve faced setbacks and moments of doubt, but I’ve always found a way to conquer them. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that overnight success is a myth. True growth takes patience, dedication, and hard work. It’s not just about the end goal—it’s about the process, the small wins, and the lessons learned along the way.

What excites me the most about YUSO isn’t just the designs or the collections; it’s the growth I see within myself and the brand. Every step, every challenge, and every milestone fuels my passion to keep going. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I know this is just the beginning. I’ll continue to work hard, stay true to my vision, and inspire others to put their soul into whatever they’re passionate about. YUSO is more than a brand—it’s a reminder that with heart, grit, and soul, anything is possible.
