Hi Dee Dee, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Most of all having a firm foundation in prayer is by far my greatest impact for my business but Customer Service was also an asset. Being able to meet Customers/Clients satisfaction and catering to their needs is one thing but customer service is where it all begins for me. In order for your brand to be successful you must care and respect who your target audience is, what they do and their opinion. Just like the saying treat people the way you would want to be treated. This questions your character if you do not produce the best character it will manifest itself in what ever you do.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Here at Blessed Hands (Salon), we focus on giving our customers/clients the best experience in the chair. Whether you’re at the shampoo bowl, under dryer or steamer, or just waiting in our reception area. We aim to comfort and please, Besides what makes our Salon so unique is our connection with our clients through customer service. As individuals if you remain humble you will get further in all your endeavors. As a business owner it is important to prepare yourself by changing old habits, and straying away for negative traits. You have to learn how to control your emotions this will strengthen your mentality. It will help you create professionalism and maintain great customer service with your clients/customers. For instance think about what you can bring to an employer when applying for a new job? How can you sale yourself during the interview process? What’s your drive and how can you meet those goals? Will you be the best employee you can be for that company. This is the training needed to keep you processed in maintaining customer service.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank God for leading me and guiding me, I have came a long way. I am not the woman I used to be, that is what kept me humble. All of my clients/customers who gave me the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a lifelong relationship with. Next my praying Mother & family who has always been their to help pick me back up through my journey of many trial and errors. Also my friends/associates who was their to encourage me. My mentors who always kept it real and never judged me. My instructors & professors for believing in my vision. My co-workers who have seen me fail but I never gave up on myself. My pastors for speaking life into my existence & interceding on my behalf. And I also appreciate everyone who has told me No, doubted me, & thought I would never make it, because of you I turned the negative into a positive, you motivated me by turning my dreams into reality. I love you all.
