Hi Diana, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?

“Go with the flow”

Only dead fish go with the flow!

I believe that if you want something you go above and beyond to make it work. Helping those that need you along the way, working as hard as you can and never settling for less because someone disagrees or doesn’t see the worth in your brand. Early on I was told that I was only pretending to be a business owner as I did not have an established business like everyone else. The statement was hard to digest at the time as it came from a loved one, but with time I understood that comment had nothing to do with me and everything to do with their inner struggles. That day and comment was the fuel behind working late nights and going above and beyond to achieving a life-long dream. Some time later, here we are. Going strong and triplicating our revenue each month while keeping our feet on the ground and prioritizing helping others above anything else.

Our background is in Cost, Tax and Forensic Accounting in every Texas Trade with an in-house CPA. Our experience and dedication to helping others surpasses boundaries. Keeping our prices below 50% market rate is our way of giving back to those people with a dream wanting to take the leap, but that can’t always afford the inflated prices set by larger corporations or online DIY websites.

We are primarily in the business of helping others, while making a living, but price gouging is not what we will be known for in an attempt to maximize our profit. 95% of our business is word of mouth, which is proof that our approach and motto is aligned with what is RIGHT. Charging clients an extra $100 won’t make us rich and it is simply not worth giving the impression that clients are but a dollar sign. They are people with a dream, questions and many doubts! We certainly will not exacerbate that by overcharging them for basic services.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My party days are long gone, but if I was to plan a special outing it would be lunch at the Crawfish Pot (Gulf Freeway), an Astros game at Minute Maid Park followed by a night cap at Little Woodrows (Eado)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Small Business Resources would be only a dream without the unquestionable loyalty and support of my Mother Mirna Gonzalez and my Ex-husband  Dario Zuniga.

They have been the strongest support system anyone could ask for and the backbone that has held me together through the years despite some mistakes made along the way.

Appreciate people that love you and don’t be afraid to take out the trash if people or situations no longer suit you.
