Hi Dionicio y Alma, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Love for our family. We are true believers that the love for our family can move mountains, being able to give your family, your children or your partner a better life will always make you do your best, not only in your daily performance but also taking your brand to another level gives you personal satisfactions that are also reflected in the family environment.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a small family business based in Conroe, Tx. serving all Houston area and nationwide shipping. We specialize in handmade candy carts, marquee letters and numbers, backdrops, table letters, plinths and all kind of custom built items perfect for your corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, baby showers and many other unique events where you want to make a big impression.

Our dream started just two years ago …
After spending years witnessing my husband’s frustration moving from job to job, unable to spend quality time with our family, wasting the best years of his life, unhappy for being in a position he never imagined. I decided to insist and help him believe in himself and his abilities. I consider myself a fan of my husband’s creativity, I think he has a great natural talent, I mean, he had never been engaged in carpentry but I always noticed his ability to create incredible pieces. After about 3 years of considering the possibility of starting his own business he finally gave me green light and we decided to start what is now A & b woodshop, we have been incredibly blessed with the support and love of our clients from all around the country.

Being here has not been easy but we survived the first steps, doubts, criticism, last year we thought that everything would end thanks to the pandemic but it was not like that, contrary to that was the moment that marked a before and after for our brand . Today we consider ourselves a small but very strong business, we love our family and we are focused on giving the best of ourselves day by day, we have new goals and we are on the right path to achieve them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely the woodlands, it’s a beautiful area, many natural walking paths to explore, lakes, forest, great concerts, restaurants and shopping near by.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First of all our two sons (Adam and Bruce) They are the main reason for all the effort and dedication in our work. we want to give them a better life? yes, but also a good example, hopping one day they become mature, responsible and hard-working men. We want to teach them that no matter how old you are it’s never too late to make your dreams come true.
