Meet Dr. Rich | Dentist & Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Rich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I am a dentist by career. But I have always loved reading books and writing since I was a kid.

After many years of reading, I decided to put my passion for writing into my own Christian Romance Book Series.

With this, I created my own publishing company and have self published my first book series that is set to be released in July 2022.

I believe that being in love, getting married, starting a family, and building a legacy together is such a beautiful thing to do, especially when God is the foundation of the relationship.

In my stories, my goal is to uplift people. I want to give my readers stories that inspire them to reach higher in their goals, expand their minds, and ways of thinking and living.

I want my books to help make this world a better place by touching people’s lives in a positive way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a dentist, I love helping my patients improve their smiles. I am a dentist who cares and I want my patients to feel comfortable when they come to see me. Professionally, I have faced challenges and made mistakes. But, I overcame them by continuing to educate myself and improve my skills. I am thankful for my mentor who has taught me so many things and helped me grow in my career as well.

Continuing education courses and mentorship are very important.

As a dentist and author, my goal is to help people and make their lives better, whether it is improving their smile or sharing a story that makes them happy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friend to eat at the Breakfast Klub, Davis Street at Hermann Park, Shipley’s Donuts (of course!), Whataburger, Perry’s Steakhouse, Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse.

I would take my friend to visit Houston’s Museum District, Space Center Houston, Hermann Park and Miller Outdoor Theatre, the Houston Zoo, the rodeo, shopping at the Galleria, and to visit Galveston.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My awesome parents have always supported me in all of my endeavors. They are the best!
